I just had a few minutes to kill while browsing the internet in a post office in Tver, the latest site in my search for a provincial archive that will show me the documents I want to see, and I found two fun articles. Without further ado:

  • An 85-year-old veteran of the Battle of Britain has called on the government to pardon Anne Boleyn. Also check out this fun blog entry, which led me to the article.
  • The Boston Globe ideas section recently featured this article about the friendship between George Kennan and Paul Nitze.

Given that I'm about to be back to a very-busy schedule of archive work, I probably won't be posting again for quite a while.
